Ocean View services start with a phone call. Call 844-562-1212. Ocean View’s staff will gather the information needed to help you with you or your loved one’s care. If Ocean View can’t help you, we’ll refer you to someone who can.
Ocean View is Medicare-approved and holds contracts with various insurance plans. In addition, we accept private pay. Our staff will work with your financial situation. Please call our Intake Coordinator for more information: 844-562-1212.
Visitors are allowed during visiting hours as long as they abide by the unit rules including what not to bring onto the unit .Ocean View patients can make and receive phone calls during scheduled times, however, not during treatment activities. The hospital unit is confidential and staff members can only acknowledge a patient’s presence with written permission from the patient. The doctor will collaborate with the patient regarding the treatment goals related to visitors and phone calls during the patient’s stay at Ocean View.

If you have a question about a particular item of clothing, you may ask a staff member. When attending the inpatient program, we ask that you not bring things such as clothing with drawstrings, belts, and shoelaces.
Yes, all patient information is kept strictly confidential. We adhere to regulations by complying with all State and Federal laws pertaining to patient confidentiality including HIPAA. Keep in mind, without expressed written permission we cannot disclose patient information to anyone including immediate family members.
Each patient will be assigned an admitting Psychiatrist and an Internist who will coordinate and lead the patient’s treatment while at Ocean View. It is the philosophy of Ocean View to have your admitting Doctor collaborate and share information with your community Doctor/Caregiver if warranted and you’re your written permission. If you and your Doctor want to have your own Doctor be the admitting Psychiatrist and attend to you while you are at Ocean View, provisional privileges may be arranged.
Ocean View is a Psychiatric Inpatient Facility and is not a traditional detox center. Ocean View Medical Staff recognizes that often patients have a co-occurring disorder of substance or alcohol abuse that may require medically supervised protocols to assist the patient safely and comfortably as the substance leaves the body.
Discharge planning to address the patient’s identified needs begins as soon as the individual is admitted.. Community caregivers and referring therapists are vital components of the patient’s transition back to the community. While at Ocean View, the patient will have access to peer support groups and community 12-step programs.
Ocean View has Psychologists and Social Workers that work with the patient and the family on an individualized basis.
